I am very particular, and while at times a demanding client, appreciate excellence when it is offered. Rick and his team are great people... not the least expensive in town.. but with automotive, you only get what you pay for. And Rick does his very best to always make that number less than more. If you want ethics and GREAT mechanics... you need look no further.
These guys are the sweet spot in the middle. They don't gouge you like a dealership but they don't cheap out and do the bare minimum. They work as a great team to provide excellent service, explanation, and the best price for the great quality of work. Take your car here if you want to get your car running again or if you simply want to keep it running. Rick is honest and trustworthy and knows what he is doing. Jen is a delight to work with at the front desk.
Prestige is simply the best. I've never met someone who knows more about cars from bumper to bumper better than Rick Steel. He's been taking care of my cars for about 25 years! His knowledge of automotive repairs is unsurpassed. He is enthusiastic about his business and repairing cars. He has an uncanny ability to figure out even the most complex mechanical problems.
He is truly an owner/operator as he is there every day, not only running the business, but working on vehicles and assisting his other superb mechanics when necessary. It's a great team effort at Prestige and I recommend them with confidence anytime someone inquires.
I have been working with Rick and Jennifer for some time now. They take care several of my company's cars and six personal cars. Reviews for work well done are often left undone... and the opposite for things we are unhappy about.

Courteous, honest, knowledgeable and professional. Every time I've come to this place, Rick (the owner) has explained everything in detail and has also convinced me to wait on unnecessary, non-emergency expensive repairs to do repairs that were high-quality, original car manufactured new parts that were cost-efficient and timely. His assistant, Jen, has also always been very courteous and helpful. I've always had an excellent experience at this shop. I highly recommend it for foreign, high-performing cars.
Prestige is by far the most honest operation I have ever encountered in this business (after many years of mixed results elsewhere). I find myself even anxious to put miles on new cars so I can get away from dealers who consider themselves high-end service (often not the case sadly). Time and again Rick has told me to hold off on repairs or wait and see rather than convince me, my wife, daughters, and even friends, otherwise. I have had heard him do the same to others as I have sat waiting for a car to be repaired.
I never worry about seeing Rick at Prestige when the car needs work. He's honest and forthcoming with everything you need to know about the service being performed. If you're familiar with having German cars serviced at other places, you know you're getting a good deal with Rick.
