It definitely looks like at one point it was an extravagant hotel but this hotel is past it's prime. I noted many issues that resulted from old age. Such as wallpaper peeling off, filthy air condition vents that are unrecognizable unless you look carefully, and worn carpet and fixtures. There are many older buildings in Baltimore but look much better because they are better taken care of. So this hotel's worn down condition shows how poorly it's taken care of.

Great hotel with plenty of space! An extremely enjoyable stay with spacious and clean rooms, spotless bathrooms, and one of the most impressive lobbies I've ever seen. Slightly larger than average bathrooms with an extra-wide vanity, so you'll have more than enough space to get ready for your evening out.

I have to go to Baltimore a lot for work, so it's good to have a safe place to stay that's dependable. This hotel is within short drive from a very lively and popping downtown area, but the breakfast was great which. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room were awesome and honestly for not that much coin. It had all the full amenities I needed, and then some. The restaurant inside is really, really good. Rooms were very clean, plenty of towels, nice tv, free waters. This is my go to place when I'm in Baltimore or D.C.

The staff of this ever-name-changing hotel is as friendly as ever, but the hotel is plagued with issues--from a resturuant that is so slow that nobody on a clock ever goes there, to pehrennial room issues, like, this year, our room starting with a non-working phone and the radiator turned off. Also, there were only two accessible power connections near the bed, running from an oddly exposed socket. That said, the rooms are clean and safe, the staff responsive during core hours, and the hotel overall pleasant to stay in.

Overall, it's a classy hotel with a contemporary feel. There's a pool as well!

This hotel is HUGE, with SPACIOUS rooms. Good place to have conferences. The food was good also. It was kinda cold in the lobby and hallways, don't know if they had the air conditioning on, but you can control temperature in rooms to your preference. The staff is very professional, and courteous.

Speaking of evenings out, the location is incredibly convenient but extremely quiet so it gives you the best of both worlds. Part of that might be the building's design, because the hallways feel more soundproofed than most.
